English: Benyamin (born Benny Daniel in 1971) is an Indian novelist and short story writer in Malayalam language from Nhettur, Kulanada, Pattanamtitta district of the south Indian state of Kerala. He is residing in Kingdom of Bahrain since 1992, from the age of twenty, and his works appear regularly on Malayalam language publications in Kerala.
മലയാളം: പുതിയ തലമുറയിലെ മലയാളി ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തും നോവലിസ്റ്റുമാണ് ബെന്യാമിൻ. പ്രവാസിയായ ഇദ്ദേഹം ബഹ്റൈനിലാണ് താമസിക്കുന്നത്. സ്വദേശം പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ പന്തളത്തിനടുത്ത് കുളനട. ആനുകാലികങ്ങളിൽ കഥകളും നോവലുകളും എഴുതുന്നു. യഥാർത്ഥ നാമം ബെന്നി ഡാനിയേൽ. ‘’ ആടു ജീവിതം’‘ എന്ന നോവലിനു് 2009-ലെ മികച്ച നോവലിനുള്ള കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Benyamin has two children who are studying in Good Shepherd Public school, Thengana. Their names are Rohan and Kesia.
